Feeding Tips & Tricks
Variety is key
If your dog eats 2 cups per day and lives to be 10 years old, they are eating roughly 7,300 meals of the same exact thing!
All of our kibbles and raw foods are designed to be rotated. Each product and protein offers different benefits. Don't buy the same bag twice in a row, switch it up for your dog, they'll thank you!
Raw for allergies
Most dogs who have protein allergies with certain kibbles do not actually have those allergies when switched to a complete and balanced raw diet.
Switch to a raw diet to help your dog with seasonal allergies, protein allergies and overall skin and coat health. No more excessive itching or licking. No more red rashes and irritated skin. Look forward to a brighter and smoother coat and a happier dog!
Kefir or goats milk?
Both! Each kefir and raw goat's milk have billions of probiotics and help aid in and ease digestion. Feed the kefir a couple minutes before breakfast, on an empty stomach, to reap all the benefits. Add some goat's milk to your dogs dinner for a nice meal topping and healthy treat!
Remember to start slow, as both (more the kefir) can take some time to adjust to.
Bones for teeth
I hear the myth all the time, that owners believe the texture of kibble helps to clean their dogs teeth. This couldn't be further from the truth. Kibble actually aids in tartar build up not the opposite.
To help maintain and improve your dogs teeth and breath, feeding some raw meaty bones. While weight bearing leg bones may be entertaining for your dog that's not what we're talking about here. You want to feed uncooked meaty bones your dog can digest such as chicken backs, turkey necks and chicken feet.
